Blind Grit celebrates the qualities required to live with disability & survive trauma, as some of the qualities we most admire, value & aspire to. It’s a celebration of those SUPER HUMANS who have been forced to survive outside a comfort zone that most of us take for granted.
Blind Grit is built entirely of & around those who live with disability & survive trauma. All the aspirational, fun, dream jobs that sit behind the creation of a fashion label, will be done by those who live with disability & survive trauma; including the modelling, photography, PR, social media, graphic design, hair & make up artistry, styling, web design & management & of course the designing itself - everything but the manufacturing !
Every Blind Grit garment is infused with challenge-conquering energy, empowering you to get out of your comfort zone & tap into your own inner SUPER HUMAN: mentally, emotionally, physically.

To be innovative & entrepreneurial in the way we value those who live with disability & survive trauma & unleash their personal & social value – by maximizing approach motivation & minimizing avoidance motivation. Structure opportunities that acknowledge that the power of survival coexists with the scars of survival; & minimize the current socially embedded obstacles that many people who live disability & survive trauma face in expressing their capabilities & potential in the world.
